Knee Replacement Surgery
Osteoarthritis, a common cause of knee pain, is the wearing away of joint cartilage from the bones of the knee joint. Pain is triggered when bone rubs against bone, causing irritation, swelling, and stiffness. If knee pain interferes with your daily activities, despite more conservative treatments, your doctor may suggest knee replacement surgery.
